I just wanted to let you know our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at you beautiful home last week.  It was very comfortable and the views from the deck are stunning!  We will want to rent the house next year the week after NASCAR race weekend again.  Also, my husband spoke to you about the renovations you are making to the barn below Glen Eastern.  Is this efficiency apartment going to be used as a vacation rental also?  If so, we would be interested in renting it also for the same week. Wanted to let you know that my friends and I truly enjoyed the Harbor West house this weekend! The place is really great and the view of the lake was spectacular!!!! The weather was perfect for our excursion to the wineries and we enjoyed relaxing around the dining table when we got home and sharing lots of laughs! You have quite a gem there in Watkins Glen! We hope to do another trip in the future, so I am glad I found your site and rentals!!!!

 I want to start by saying how much we enjoyed our trip last weekend (Oct 1 and 2) and how beautiful the Harbor West house was! We were all so impressed!! Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate for us but we had a great time hanging out in the house which had everything we could possibly have needed and more.  Thank you so much for providing such wonderful accommodations!

Hi Tom,
We just got back from our wonderful trip to New York. What a beautiful area. It is very similar to where we live, though not as many evergreen trees. We definitely were glad we were there a week and plan to return since we didn't get in all that we wanted! Glen Eastern was a perfect spot for the all the places we went to. The Glen race track was a favorite for our 3 1/2 year old grandson as well as the Falls hike. We loved the wineries and only scratched the surface on those! We had the best meal at Red Newt Bistro and would return solely to eat there again! The weather even cooperated. We saw some WONDERFUL lightning shows.

Once again, we had a great time and look forward to returning again. Fall should be beautiful, I think.

We stayed at Glen Eastern for a week and it was one of the most beautiful, relaxing vacations we have ever had. Everything was as stated with all conveniences; and the wrap-around deck was where we had meals, and just relaxed while looking at the boats and sunset. We particularly enjoyed the wineries you recommended, and the Glen was fantastic. Thanks so much for all you did to insure everything went well for our little family reunion. We will be back, hopefully next year. We hope to reserve for the 4th or the Italian Day festival. Fireworks from your deck would be a true sight to see.

As the organizer of our family reunion, I wanted to thank you for all you did to make everything run smoothly. Renting the two houses was perfect for our large family. Their locations across the lake from each other worked out fine, especially since they are both only a short distance from downtown Watkins and the park. The kids had a ball at the beach and both yards were family friendly. The crib and toddler toys kept the little ones busy at Glen Eastern while the "younger crowd" loved the proximity of Salt Point to the Tiki Bar. The weather was great and we cooked out almost every night. We did wind up using the launch for our boat at the marina you suggested. Thanks for all!

We couldn't be happier about our vacation at Glen Eastern. The house was perfect. The kids were happy just playing in the yard. My mother loved sitting on the porch watching the birds and lake scenery- and we all enjoyed the many activities and things to do in the area. We did the wine trail and your convenient location allowed us to do most of them while we were there. We must come back to do the rest ;-).

Salt Point was great for our vacation. Great views, close to town, beach and marina, and best of all, we had some fun nights hanging out at the Tiki Bar. We even rented their jet skis. First time for me...what a blast! The Raceway was close enough to enjoy too. Our auto club will be back next year for sure.
